The Ponsonby Community Toy Library is a non-governmental, not-for-profit community organisation. To this end the library is run almost entirely by a team of volunteers.

Our friendly and casual committee is always interested in hearing from members wishing to join our team as a committee volunteer.

Is it hard? No.

Does it take much time?  No. Only around 2 hours a month if that, when it suits you.

What will I get out of it? After you pay the Duty Membership Fee and start your role you will perform no duty sessions (instead you work as a committee member) and incur no late fees! You’ll be required to help run the summer toy hire. You can also pre-book summer toy hire toys.

What’s the Committee like? We’re relaxed and friendly, as well as organised and efficient. We meet every 3-4 months for only an hour or two, and discuss business.
